Tucker Casuarina: a few minutes down the road in Casuarina, Tucker is a fantastic cafe that serves nostalgic Aussie cuisine using seasonal and local produce for breakfast and lunch.
We recommend the green eggs for breakfast if you're feeling well behaved or the hotcakes if you're feeling a little naughty
For lunch get the chook salad or the fish and chips or the pasta, or anything really!
They sell delicious retail bread from Bread Social and gelato from Hevenyah gelato, pick up a take home pack while you're there!
Paper Daisy at Halcyon House: a must when staying in Cabarita Beach. Halcyon House is a renovated motel come boutique hotel that transforms you to another place (some say the Hamptons or Palm Springs, some say the Greek Islands). The food is exceptional, the setting is stunning and the crowd is always impeccably dressed. And while you’re there, make sure you get an Insta photo in front of their infamous breeze block wall.
If you are looking for more casual dining ask to be seated outside for their bar menu- our recommendations: their famous prawn sandwich, their green rice king prawns or the pork chop. You can’t go past an Aperol spritz (or two) too
If you are after a more fine dining experience, book a table inside and choose between a 3 or 4 course meals
They also serve great coffee, so feel free to pop past in the morning for brew or get a take-away for your morning beach walk.
